Day 1: Fly to Bengaluru (Bangalore) (N)

Day 2: Srirangapatna. Mysore

Transfer to the LaLit, Bengaluru for immediate occupancy. After breakfast, travel to Mysore, visiting Srirangapatna en route.

Stay 2 nights at the Radisson. (B)

Day 3: In Mysore

Morning visit to the Nandi Bull and the Maharaja’s Palace. Afternoon at leisure. (В)

Day 4: Ooty Coonoor

Drive to the hill station of Ooty. Afternoon tour of Ooty botanical gardens. Continue to Coonoor and stay 2 nights at the Gateway Hotel Coonoor. (B)

Day 5: In Coonoor

Scenic narrow gauge train trip to Ooty. (B)

Day 6: In Kochi

Full-day drive to Kochi (Cochin). Stay 2 nights at the Forte Kochi. (B)

Day 7: In Kochi

Morning cruise in scenic Kochi harbour, followed by a visit to Jew Town. In the evening, visit a Kalaripayattu studio. (В)

Days 8-9: Alleppey Kumarakom

Morning visit to Mattancherry Palace. Drive to Alleppey for a cruise through the backwaters. Transfer to Aveda Kumarakom for 2 nights. Evening sunset boat trip on Lake Vembanad. Following day at leisure. (В)

Day 10: Drive to Thekkady

Morning transfer to Thekkady. After lunch, visit a spice garden. Overnight at the Cardamom County. (B)

Day 11: Drive to Madurai

Drive to Madurai. Visit the Meenakshi temple. Stay overnight at the Heritage Madurai. (B)

Day 12: Drive to Thanjavur

Morning drive to Tiruchchirappalli to visit the imposing Rock Fort temple. Continue to the nearby town of Kumbakonam for a 2-night stay at Hotel Paradise Resort.

Morning visit to Brihadeeswara temple in Thanjavur (Tanjore) and Darasuram, a temple noted for its fine sculpture. Continue to a bronze-casting centre. (B)

Days 14: Drive to Chennai

Full-day drive to Chennai (Madras). Stay at Trident Chennai until departure to the airport. (B)
