Part 1: The Preparations

  • Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival. Your journey starts with a simple airport pickup. We’ll take you to a quality hotel where you can relax. In the evening, we’ll have a welcome dinner and a briefing so you can meet your fellow travelers.
  • Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing. We’ll explore the city’s spiritual side in a comfortable, private vehicle. We will visit famous temples like Pashupatinath, a beautiful start to our pilgrimage.
  • Day 03: Drive to Syabrubesi. Our overland adventure begins. We’ll drive through Nepal’s beautiful landscapes. Our comfortable vehicle ensures the journey is a pleasure, and you’ll get a good night’s rest at our chosen guesthouse.
  • Day 04: Cross the Nepal-China border and drive to Kerung. Our team will assist you with a smooth border crossing into Tibet. From there, we’ll drive to Kerung. We’ll stay at a comfortable guesthouse, allowing you to settle in and prepare for the days ahead.
  • Day 05: Kerung to Saga. We continue our journey in comfortable rides to Saga, a strategically located town. The views of the vast, open landscapes are breathtaking, giving you a taste of the serene beauty to come.

Part 2: Reaching the Divine

  • Day 08: Manasarovar to Darchen. The Kailash Base Camp. In the morning, you can take a holy dip in the lake. Then we will drive to Darchen, the base camp of Mount Kailash. The spiritual energy here is powerful, and you will feel the excitement for the trek ahead.

Part 3: The Holy Trek (Parikrama)

  • Day 09: Kora – Darchen to Dirapuk. The holy trek around Kailash begins. We will walk to Dirapuk. Our team can arrange a horse or pony for you if you prefer. You will be in awe of the stunning north face of Mount Kailash as we arrive at our campsite.
  • Day 10: Kora – Dirapuk to Zuthulpuk – Dolma La Pass. This is the most challenging day, but our team is here to help. We will cross the famous Dolma La Pass (5,630m). You can use a horse or pony to assist with the climb. We will also visit Gauri Kund, a sacred lake. We end the day at a cozy camp in Zuthulpuk.
  • Day 11: Kora end – Zulthulpuk to Darchen and drive to Saga. We complete the final part of the trek, feeling a great sense of accomplishment. Then we drive back to Saga, where you can relax in comfort, reflecting on your incredible journey.

Part 4: The Journey Home
