Day 2: Delhi<\/strong><\/p>\n

Arrive in Delhi and transfer to the LaLit<\/strong> (or similar) for 2 nights. Late afternoon tour of Old Delhi exploring Chandni Chowk by cycle rickshaw. Welcome dinner at the Haveli Dharampura in Old Delhi. (D)<\/p>\n

Day 3: Delhi<\/strong><\/p>\n

Morning visit to the President\u2019s Palace for the Changing of the Guard ceremony. Continue on your tour of New Delhi visiting the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun and the Qutb Minar tower. Afternoon at leisure \u2013 perhaps explore one of Delhi\u2019s many markets or simply relax at your hotel. (B, D)<\/p>\n

Day 4: Agra<\/strong><\/p>\n

Drive to Agra. In the afternoon, visit the magnificent Agra fort. Stay overnight at the Courtyard by Marriott <\/strong>(or similar). (B, D)<\/p>\n

Day 5: Fatehpur Sikri \u2022 Ranthambore<\/strong><\/p>\n

Early morning sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal. After breakfast, drive to the deserted sandstone city of Fatehpur Sikri. Continue to the train station and travel by train to Sawai Madhopur for 2 nights at Swai Villas<\/strong> (or similar).<\/strong> Afternoon at leisure. (B, D)<\/p>\n

Day 6: Ranthambore<\/strong><\/p>\n

Early morning and late afternoon wildlife drives in search of tigers. (B, L, D)<\/p>\n

Day 7: Jaipur<\/strong><\/p>\n

Morning departure for Deogarh visiting Pushkar and its temples and markets en route. Stay 2 nights at the Deogarh Mahal<\/strong>, a former palace and now a superb heritage hotel. Afternoon at leisure. (B, D)<\/p>\n

Day 10: Deogarh<\/strong><\/p>\n

This morning take a scenic ride on Deogarh\u2019s metre-gauge train passing waterfalls, lush landscapes and rural life. Optional afternoon 4×4 safari visiting local Bishnoi tribal villages*. Enjoy an evening of traditional Rajasthani folk dancing. (B, D)<\/p>\n

Day 11: Ranakpur \u2022 Udaipur<\/strong><\/p>\n

Drive to Udaipur, arguably Rajasthan\u2019s most picturesque city. Visit the magnificent Jain temples at Ranakpur en route. Stay 2 nights at LaLiT Laxmi Vilas Palace <\/strong>(or similar). (B, D)<\/p>\n

Day 12: Udaipur<\/strong><\/p>\n

Enjoy a guided tour of Udaipur including the magnificent City Palace, the Jagdish temple and the Garden of the Maid’s Honour. End the tour with a cruise on the lake. This evening enjoy a farewell dinner overlooking Lake Fateh Sagar. (B, D)<\/p>\n

Day 13: Fly to London via Mumbai<\/strong><\/p>\n
